Abstract
This document summarizes my experiences in both work and personal life during September, even though I'm writing it on October 11.
Job
In September, I focused primarily on applying prompts to entrepreneurial businesses. Fine-tuning often isn't the best choice due to cost considerations, especially with the availability of many intelligent models today. Most of my time was spent on multimodal business applications, such as using models to screen illegal videos or training a LoRA model to generate personal style images that meet our business requirements.
Personal
September was filled with exciting personal milestones and activities:
- First Car: I purchased my first car, and driving it feels incredibly special.
- Reading and Learning: I delved into some papers on reasoning, especially those considered foundational to OpenAI's
o1
series, and explored blogs and videos on prompt engineering. I highly recommend reading the blog from Cursor—it's one of the best resources I've encountered on the importance of taking prompts seriously.
- Travel to Australia: I spent 10 days traveling through Australia, visiting Sydney, Gold Coast, and Brisbane. It's a beautiful country, and I captured many stunning photos. I can't wait to share my experiences in a future blog post.
See you next month!
