Abstract
Work
This month's work mainly focused on completing several tasks:
- Explored more possibilities of using the Prompt Chain, using the Prompt Chain to write stories, can generate a decent story. The main model used is Claude 3 Opus, but Claude recently doesn't feel as impressive as when I first used it. I still remember when I first used it to write stories, I often exclaimed, "Wow, it's really good at writing". I don't know if the model has become less intelligent recently, or if I'm just misperceiving it.
- At the same time, influenced by this paper from Microsoft https://arxiv.org/abs/2311.16452, I feel that the same method can be used in the case of writing stories, but I haven't practiced it in engineering yet, I just manually tested it and thought the effect was okay.
- This month was also mainly devoted to solving the problem of character consistency, debugging the storyboarding, translation, and prompts in the overall process.
- This month I also collected a lot of online novel corpus, wanted to train a storytelling model, but found that the effect was not good at all when I first trained it. (To be honest, I didn't think this was likely to work from the bottom of my heart. For the current LLM, the biggest problem with writing novels or stories is that it doesn't understand the logic and continuity of the plot.)
Life
This month, I mainly did a few things in life
- Took advantage of the holiday to visit Japan, it was a lot of fun! I'll post some photos when I have time.
- Finally got rid of the thing about studying PTE, I really didn't have the heart to learn, couldn't learn, and didn't have enough time; but I feel like I might have to pick this up again in June and continue learning🥺
- Read several papers, some on prompt research, some I've read before, but now I'm reading again, and some about Agent. Recently started researching Agent, read AutoGen, and CrewAI's official documentation, it's very interesting.
- This month I also watched a few movies, "Siege of Kowloon Walled City", "Borrowing Life", "The 20th", "Negotiation Expert", "Human World of Grass and Trees"; with my not-so-high artistic appreciation level, except for "Human World of Grass and Trees" and "Borrowing Life", I think the others are watchable.
See you next month👋!
